The farm’s newest house was built in 2019. It is fully automated and climate-controlled with Roxell equipment. Parent chicks are floor-reared on straw litter.

Vaccination and biosecurity
A detailed vaccination programme runs throughout rearing while flock development and immune status are continuously monitored. The separate quarantine location further protects biosecurity.
Moving into production
At approximately 16 weeks, well-developed and uniform flocks move to the production houses, where they remain through the laying cycle.
